The time has come. In just 20 days, theSLRtour II will begin from Sofia, Bulgaria! The preparation is in full steam. Both cars are in perfect health. I’m currently driving the SLR a couple of times per week, so everything is looking promising.

The schedule is as follows:
On 26.07, we’ll begin our drive from Sofia to Zagreb. The distance is roughly 800km, which makes it the most demanding leg of the tour. Hence, we’ll start at 4 a.m., so that we can avoid peak afternoon heat and allow time for a recharge before the drive to Austria. We'll have to deal with the Serbian border, too. There will be no possibility for photoshoots that day in Zagreb.
On 27.07, we’ll be on our way to Innsbruck. In just 600km, we’ll cross three countries! I consider it to be moderately demanding. Again, we’ll start our journey as early as possible.
On 28.07, we arrive in Zurich, where we’ll stay until the 30th. So, two full days for Zurich. There is time for photoshoots and meet-ups! I’m looking forward to them! The drive that day is roughly 300km.
On 30.07, we’ll begin our journey to Salzburg. On this day, we’ll join the autobahn around Munich for a quick top speed test run! We’ll likely have a wurst or two for lunch before we enter Austria again. 455km in total for that day.
My birthday is on the 31st of July, which I’ll celebrate in the SLR on the way back to Zagreb. The drive is about 420km. This day belongs to me and the SLR. I’ll celebrate later that day in my favourite city in Europe. We’re staying in Zagreb until 02.08. 01.08 is for photoshoots and meet-ups in Zagreb!
theSLRtour II ends on 02.08, when we’re supposed to arrive back in Bulgaria.
The live map is ready and will go online on 26.07. It’ll automatically go live as soon as we leave a 15km radius from where we start/stay at (for privacy reasons). You’ll be able to see our live location for each of the days and join us at any point you want! The live map is your invitation!
