The Murci is coming home next week!

Honestly, it has spent the majority of the time away, in shops. This should tell you enough about the e-gear Lamborghinis. I’m yet to speak about the “Lambogate”. My honest and sincere advice is to not get a Lamborghini in Bulgaria. No one can work on the V12s. I mean it, unless you want to have your own “Lambogate” story. I can give you names of all major shops that tried to scam us throughout the Murci ownership. But the “Lambogate” is about one particular shop and one day I’ll share the whole story. In the meantime, here’re some photos from the manual conversion, which I think are a rare sight.

@murci_daily will be one of the very few, if not the only one, to document what’s like to live with a converted Murcielago LP640. Generally, the Murci community is cool with such conversions, but there aren’t as many cases that document what happens with the car once it gets a gated shifter. Allegedly, people are now more likely to buy an LP640 with a manual conversion than they’re to buy an e-gear one. This represents what the Murci buyers are looking for - gated Murcies.

Now, some people think that if many e-gear Murcies get the conversion done, the factory gated Murcies will lose value. I don’t see this happening, because you can check the VIN and see whether the Murci came with a gated shifter from the factory or not. So, we’re not competing with the factory manual LP640s in terms of price, alright. Even though, the conversion kit is likely a better built quality than the OEM one. The goal is to make the e-gear ones better, more enjoyable cars. But there’s definitely an increase in the price of the manually-converted ones. Only time will tell where in the Murci market their place is. @murci_daily and whoever else has done it will contribute to that placement. If you know other converted Murcies, please, send them to me, I would love to follow them!

As for the manual conversion - it was done by the leader in Murcielago’s manual conversions - ECPS Group. It costed around 40.000 EUR. So, instead of spending north of 1 million on a gated LP640 Murci, you can buy an e-gear LP640 and convert it for 40.000 EUR. Sounds like a steal to me! The Murci also went through an intensive inspection, including the engine. Some parts needed to be replaced and were billed on top of the 40k conversion. From now on, if the Murci requires a visit to the shop, we’ll send it straight to ECPS and will absolutely avoid any BG shop like the plague. Once the Murci arrives, I’ll start planning my birthday photoshoot. I genuinely can’t wait. I love this car as much as I love Paris, if not more. I’m looking forward to the Murci - Paris summer.

See you around in a gated Murci!
