Just a girl with a McLaren and her 2025 recommendations

The season of gifting is upon us and I realized I haven't posted one of these for at least 2 Christmases in a row.

Also, I dropped my 2025 face card and I feel bad for everyone who knew me before that. 0 injectables btw. The only needles touching my body are the tattoo machine needles lol. I do all of my tattoos in London, I go to the same tattoo artist and I'm going to gatekeep him, because I need him on demand for whenever I decide to get another tattoo. Sorry! LMAO He's done my finger tattoos as well.
Here's my list of all things I love in 2025:
* Starting off strong with possibly my favourite purchase of the year - my Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 NM sneakers. You’ve seen them on my recent posts. I can’t stop wearing them. A little funny story about the day I bought them: I was in their store on Regent Street, in London. While walking around, I entered a room with sneakers that had security at the front. I didn’t think much of that. Upon entering, 3 shop assistants approached me - one offering drinks and coffee, the other two trying to showcase the best selection in that room. Since I had a tunnel vision for the black leather ones, I asked for a pair to try them on, they brought out 3 different sizes, because Japanese sizes run smaller. I started to notice I was treated better than the rest of the shoppers, yet it was only me in that room. The moment I put them on I knew I wasn’t leaving without these sneakers, so, I told the shop assistants I’ll buy them. They all started to look at each other in excitement as they were taking me to the cashier. I was like: “That’s a 5 star treatment right there” lmao As I was taking out my phone to pay with it, one assistant asked me :”How come you never checked the price or asked how much they cost? This room is actually for our Nippon Made collection - the most limited and highest of quality sneakers we offer.” “Now the security made sense, lmao” - I told myself. So, that’s how I ended up with these black ones - I entered a room I knew nothing about. I came back for more pairs 2 days later lol
The most comfortable shoes I've ever worn:

* Not a 2025 purchase, but a 2025 favourite. It’s one of my signature scents - Creed Aventus For Her. I just finished a bottle. That means it’s time to go back to London. I take my scent game very seriously and I only buy my bottles from London. Every time I’m in the city I treat myself with an olfactory experience. This fragrance to me is exactly that. My other signature scent is Baccarat Rouge 540. I first started wearing it in 2016, waaaay before it became a mainstream sensation and every other brand would try to replicate it. It was everywhere between 2020-2023. I’m noticing a decline in its popularity, which only means one thing - I can get back to it. I believe BR 540 is one of the reasons why men chased me on the streets of London. My menswear tutor was obsessed with me partially because of this fragrance. I guess it makes a good chemical reaction with my skin. So, men, watch out LMAOOO.
Creed Aventus For Her:

* A very recent purchase - a Dr. Vranjes car perfume. How can I be a perfume aficionado, if I don’t introduce Monster to this passion of mine? I got the carbon-fibre one and I think it looks really nice as a part of the interior. Now, the problem is that I suggest you try which scent matches your taste in-store, because what I ordered may not have been my first choice. But I ordered it online, so, no complaints really. If you know someone, who would love a touch of luxury in the form of a car perfume - this would make a perfect gift!

* My favourite lifetime purchase in recent years - my Fender American Professional II Stratocaster in Miami Blue. The sexiest guitar ever. For those who don’t know - I’m a self-taught guitar player and I used to play the violin semi-professionally when I was a kid lmao Learned to play Symphony No. 9 in 2 weeks and my tutor sent me to the biggest scenes possible alongside the biggest names. Then my teenage period hit me and switched to metalcore, post-hardcore, post-punk and the violin got replaced by a guitar. That’s the music I still listen to. Sorry, mom, it wasn’t a phase.
Music has always been there and a huge part of my life. I also have a Gibson Les Paul Standard 60s in Bourbon Burst. I prefer the Fender currently, because it’s lighter and allows for a lot of modifications. The Fender is more approachable. The Gibson is peak craftsmanship and that distracts me a bit while playing, because I’m also trying to be extra careful. That Miami Blue shade fixes my mood every time I pick it up.

* My Bose earplugs decided to stop working on a random Tuesday after 5 years of heavy usage. The best earplugs ever, I opened Bose’s website to order the same ones. Guess what? It’s been 5 years, they don’t carry this model anymore and this sent me into an audiophile rabbit hole. Don’t do that, I’m still recovering. Just go and buy the B&W PX8, if you care about the quality of the music you listen to. It’s a whole new universe I didn’t know it existed.
In green, obviously, green is a big theme around here. ;]

* I purchased my first cowboy boots in 2020, when I lived in Barcelona. Today I have a cowboy boots collection worth tens of thousands lmao. I buy one pair for my birthday, one for New Year and one for my name’s day. So, like 3 pairs per year lol The ones I’m wearing on the Monster+Paris photoshoot are my most exotic pair yet - from snake skin. I’m currently customising them with sterling silver additions to make them even more extra. I was looking forward to buying a pair from the US, but nothing caught my eye the same way my current boots do. Maybe I didn’t go to the right places.
All of my cowboy boots are Sendra.

* The first item I bought to celebrate Monster was this Harrods Henry bear in green. It’s currently hanging from the rearview mirror. As someone who’s never owned a Labubu, this is as close I’ll ever be to this whole plush keychain obsession - a green Harrods bear hanging in Monster.

* The only skincare product that makes all the difference - Lotion P50 by Biologique Recherche. I'm obsessed with skincare, I've tried all levels - from drugstore to pro grade. From 12-step routine to 3-step routine. Been there, done that. I started getting serious about skincare when I hit my twenties. Just like with everything in life - consistency is key. I now see the fruits of that consistency. I don't have a single fine line on my face or neck. Wrinkles - I have no idea what's like to have those. I don't look my age at all, I look 10 years younger. I do credit my good genes, just like Sydney Sweeney, but I also credit my consistency with skincare. Being a non-smoker my whole life plays a massive role as well. Women usually get hit by reality at 25. It's only downhill from there, if you smoke, drink, eat trash and don't take care of your skin. Lifestyle choices age you like crazy and skincare may not be able to help. So, beware, ladies. The choices you make today, you may regret 10 years from now. Lotion P50 is the absolute best skincare product on the market. Hands down, nothing comes close. I've bought bottles for everyone I care about - male or female. I got everyone hooked around me. P50, a good retinol cream, a moisturiser, a cleanser and a solid SPF are all you need. Everything else is BS. https://biologiquerechercheuk.co.uk/skincare/face/lotions/lotion-p50

* As someone who drives every day, the things I can't live without are the driving gloves. Just to continue with the whole skincare advice - your hands are exposed to the radiation from the sun when you drive. You need gloves to protect your skin. I know, in the past they were worn because of the wooden wheels etc, we don't have those anymore. I get it. But I don't want to age the skin on my hands, which btw is one of the thinest and most prone to show your real age before any other part of your body.
I've bought gloves with UV protection as well, but any type of gloves will go a solid job nonetheless. You can get creative when it comes to their colours. Adds a touch of sophistication and an individuality to the whole driving experience.

* Honourable mentions:
Of course my passport, which allows me to visit the USA whenever I like. I'm already planning my next USA trip. By far, Monster is the best purchase of 2025. I can't imagine living without this car. Since I don't drink alcohol anymore, I switched into a soda mode and I absolutely love the Dr. Pepper Vanilla Float flavour. It's my favourite thing to drink in 2025.
