facebook group for SLR Owners

Hey, there! Happy 2026!
I'm looking forward to seeing SLRs being driven this year! I'll absolutely contribute to that. May all SLRs are dirty, with rock chips and finger prints on the doors! The current issue with my SLR inspired me to start a Facebook group. The SLR Club helped more than Mercedes-Benz did, but it's a members only type of community and it requires you to pay an annual membership fee.
The fee is not a problem for any SLR owner, but a Facebook group is easier, simpler.

Now, you can participate in both. I do. The SLR Club have established themselves. Unfortunately, it's not really an international community. The main language is German, although they always reply to messages in English. Nothing wrong with them. They're brilliant, always been. Love them! I just feel like there could be a more laid-back option. I'm after a more relaxed environment, in which everyone can feel welcomed and an equal. We all share the same passion for the same car after all!
The main purpose of the group is to share knowledge and experiences with the SLR. You can share about your technical issues, if any, and seek support and answers. You can share about your trips, post photos and let us know where the SLR has taken you recently. You can also seek help with any modifications, part numbers and whatever really comes to your mind. I'll also upload all of the recalls I have stumbled upon! I'm the admin and the moderator and I won't include/add anyone else in these roles for the time being. I also kindly ask anyone seeking to join to provide a proof of ownership. You won't be accepted without a proof of ownership.
